Stopped by this evening for green curry and rice. New owners who are very friendly and the food was very tasty. Really authentic curry, not too spicy and lots of chicken. Great start guys! I'll be back.
I'm sorry to write such a poor review. I was really looking forward to a Thai meal especially after being disappointed at a meal we ordered from \ I am Thai \ not far away in Babbacombe. I didn't think it would be as bad as that - but it was. The Pad Thai was too wet. There were no peanuts, the noodles were stuck together but most importantly the dish smelt of PORK and we ordered vegetarian! The massalam curry was the most flavourless thai curry I've ever tasted. The spring rolls were okay I guess but nothing to write home about, and the sweet chilli sauce was all sugar very little chilli. I dont know... Maybe I've been spoilt by eating at really good Thai places when I lived in Hastings and the south east, but this really was awful. If you think this is good then you'll be bowled over when you go to a decent Thai. Would not recommend - sorry to say as the guy who served us was friendly enough.
I had red Thai duck with jasmine rice last night and it was very tasty, plenty of sauce for the rice to soak up and the portions were excellent :)
The chicken with cashews was delicious, so was the chicken satay. I'd happily visit again!
