Went to Janke studios for a Hand Picked Atlanta deal. It was an hour glass blowing class for two. Matt was our teacher and he was absolutely wonderful. He began by showing us all of the tools then demonstrated how to create a glass flower and paperweight and then it was our turn to create our \masterpieces\ it was an amazing process and a lot of fun. Matt was extremely personable. I highly recommend going in and seeing the beautiful pieces in the studio and taking a class if possible.

I commisioned 7 pieces from them as memorial pieces that incorporated my mother's cremains. They went above and beyond! The pieces turned out better than I could have imagined!
Had a great time! My mom bought us a class for my birthday and the teacher was great! Felt totally safe handling molten glass around huge furnaces.
Very friendly staff and nice location in Old Fourth Ward, we did the Date night special and was able to make two Pumpkins!! So neat, got to take it home after 9 days (annealing)
Matt Janke was a fun and informative craftsman. The glass blowing is truly an art and we were so glad to get to learn some of the basics. Go do this, you will have a great time.
