This was my first time here and it was not a very good experience at all. The biggest issue being the kid at the register. He was very unfriendly and unhelpful and somehow was upset with me because I didn't tip. Not only did he push the tip jar in front of me as a \hint\ but he did not hand me my food he just put it down once he saw that I didn't tip. Why would I tip you??? You don't force people to tip or change your customer service if you don't receive one that is extremely unprofessional. I've seen 2 other reviews that mention this same kid being rude or unfriendly. The owners need to remove him from the register because I definitely won't be coming back there again. The prices are way too high, the oxtails had NO flavor at all and I did not get good service to have paid 60. I guess you can fool the locals but I'm from NY for real and those oxtails were flavorless. The curry chicken roti was good and one of the cooks in the back was nice that's the only positive thing I can say.

I was excited to try out this new place. There's a small mom-and-pop shop and they have a really interesting menu. Starts off with patties for only 2 each, which I kind of like large baked empanadas. They have jerk pork, chicken, and beef in sandwiches or with rice. And they have a goat dish with rice, which is excellent, but very very spicy. I got the jerk pork sandwich and it came with some slaw on it I think, but it was all excellent. I will be back again.

This place is great. The food is top notch, the staff is really friendly. I went with my wife, her cousin, and her cousin's toddler. The staff helped push a couple little tables together for us, and cleaned up when we were done making a mess haha

Absolutely positively not authentic Jamaican cuisine. I ordered brown stew chicken and curry chicken neither were authentic they were more American taste not the spicy/Caribbean kick im used to. Portions of rice and cabbage were good although cabbage is a little plain. Also I've never had dumplings in my stew so that was new to me. Chicken was done to perfection but lacked spices. Oan staff was friendly and asked repeatedly how food was. Would I recommend a friend yes with warning that it might not be the Jamaican style spices that they are looking for.

The atmosphere is inviting. The food is AMAZING. Everything fresh and from scratch. Not a single microwave in sight. And the family today owns it are genuine and welcoming. You can't go wrong with anything you choose! The prices are reasonable. My family and I will remain loyal customers.
