Excellent fish and chips all cooked fresh Staff fab. Gave us a wee buzzer so we could sit in car while it cooked.

THE best chippy I’ve ever had!! It was so fresh, beautiful soft fish with a crispy batter, lovely tasty chips, kids had sausages & they really loved them. We also had a white pudding which was to die for! And tasty homemade coleslaw, it was all SO good and the staff were so lovely, friendly & helpful. Highly recommended.

What a shame, drove over 45 minutes to get to the shop and when we got there there were 6 customers inside the small shop waiting and all of them were wearing masks, but there were 4 staff which none of them were wearing masks or gloves? Typical example of people not adhering to the Covid safety rules. I would rather not have Covid and chips thanks. ......... In reply to the owners answer. I have a right to leave an accurate review and to help others be aware so they have the choice. Making money is far less important than people's lives. Please try to worry a bit less about lining your pockets and teach your staff about distancing rules and save lives. If your business is as good as it claims to be then I am sure this review will not impact your success. All the best.

Really enjoyed this place, was staying up the road at a local hotel, I was in the mood for fish and chips so went here as it was close by. Really enjoyed both the fish as it was nice and crispy without being soggy and the chips were really nice and tasty. If I'm ever back up that way i would certainly go back.
