Jado Kuin Do Harpenden

Jado Kuin do is such a positive force in my daughter’s life. It has taught her strength and resilience and she loves being a part of the group and community. Mark is an incredible teacher. He commands respect, keeps such control over the kids but does so kindly and in a fun way. I wholeheartedly recommend the classes.

I have been attending Jado Kuin Do classes with Mark for two years now, and am really enjoying them. The classes are very friendly and accessible to all, from complete beginners to those who have some martial arts experience. It has really helped my flexibility and strength. Mark is a great teacher, and has a friendly approach which puts you at ease from the very start.

I am 11 and have been attending jado classes in Harpenden since I was six. ii’ve progressed steadily through the belts, last year achieving my Brown Belt and since then, I have started training for black belt. Mark’s classes are difficult and tiring but really fun! Last year I had to choose whether I would continue with Jado or with Scouts. I loved both but of course I chose Jado! I like being able to do self defence classes and my coordination and self-confidence also improved. I am really looking forward to working for my black belt - if anyone in Harpenden or areas around wants to start learning a martial art, I would also recommend Jado-Kuindo! (Henry, 11)
