Good hearty fresh dishes. We had the pork ramen and the noodles were really lovely. The cook makes everything to order and the turnaround time is quick when you phone in. He cares and you will appreciate it! Also on the menu are rolls, sushi, meat and rice bowls and sandwiches. Plus good drinks!

I am a big fan of onigiri, but I never knew that I could get it right in jackson heights! I will definitely be stopping by again. This is a great, authentic Japanese cafe with very affordable prices and some unique menu items, such as their sandwiches which are made of rice and seaweed. Their sandwiches are so fresh and healthy. I had the oyster one and it kept me full but I didn't feel groggy and heavy after eating it. Plus, it was delicious and service was quick.
Owner is super friendly, makes you feel right at home! food is amazing and sold at a great price. If you are looking for a taste of Japan in Queens NY , Cafe 969 is the place.
I love how they have different varieties of sushi sandwiches and onigiri. Its a small yet cozy spot and the service is very quick. The food is so fulfilling and healthy and tastes really good. I would definitely recommend this spot to the sushi lovers.
