I believe that Dr Edwin Harmon has retired now. I thank God for this man and all the wonderful things he had done for my son. He did not rush to operate on him right away. This man was God sent to us he seen our son a few days after birth. We knew that something was wrong with his kidneys because of the new 3D ultrasound. All because the perinatologist was late and the ultrasound technician asked us if it was okay for him to just look around because the 3D ultrasound was new to him. We were young and very excited about our baby coming. So we told the technician sure go ahead. God was already working because in that 45 minutes the ultrasound technician noticed something wrong with the kidneys. We were not even there to have that checked, we were there to look at Cartilage growth. The Doctor came in and looked at the cartilage. He said all was fine and then the ultrasound technician said I have a question about something I seen that I don’t understand do you mind explaining what I seen the doctor said sure show me . I don’t remember the ultrasound technicians name. I wish I did because of him not being afraid to speak up I know because of God and this brave man and that God sent us to Dr Harmon and Sandy his right hand lady and all the people that prayed for him that our son still has two kidneys. The last surgery he had was back around mid December 2017 University of Mississippi Medical Center. We had excellent care. God allowed Dr Harmon to do what needed to be done. I know Dr. Harmon has retired now, however we just wanted to show our appreciation for him and the staff at University of Mississippi Medical Center.
