I really appreciate the service I received at Coleman and Taylor Transmissions. My 2003 Tahoe rides just as good as it did when I first bought it. I highly recommend taking your vehicle here. The atmosphere were both friendly and professional. I am telling everyone that I know that has any problems with their transmission to take it to Coleman and Taylor Transmissions. The technician was even nice enough to make me aware of an issue I did not know I had. I am very satisfied with the outcome of my vehicle. I don’t normally write reviews, but I had to share how happy I am to still have my vehicle in great condition without having to spend a ton of money or purchase a new one. Thanks Coleman and Taylor Transmission for all you do in putting forth great efforts to make customers like me satisfied.

After purchasing an RV we found my truck’s transmission slipped and leaked a lot when we pulled it. After being referred to Coleman Taylor in Jackson, MS I took my truck their to have the transmission rebuilt or replaced. After checking it the said it just needed to be cleaned, serviced, and have a seal replace. I had them perform this work two months ago, but waited until the big test last week to write a review (which I never do). Last week we pulled our RV through the mountains. One full week of very steep grades and having to downshift on the down slopes. The truck and transmission pulled far better than expected. So to give them 5 stars is only because I couldn’t select more. Coleman Taylor could have taken advantage of me and didn’t. I was preparing for 3,000 or more. They were very polite and answered the many questions I had professionally. They are the only transmission shop in town as far as I am concerned. I’m a fan.

A Service Servicemen and Management professional and remained in contact with me during the process. They went above and beyond to help me- picked me up from rental car return, then dropped my vehicle off at my home once work was completed. These businessmen know the value of helping others when needed. Good people giving great care and service!! My estimate was spot on, even less than I expected. Clint really was a Godsend to me... I appreciate him and his servicemen!! I'll be a lifetime customer for repairs!

On the way to Jackson, MS, I experienced operational issues with my SUV after picking it up from a repair shop in Memphis on 9/1/20 after a rebuild. On 9/9, I dropped in at the Coleman Taylor shop on Hwy 80 in Jackson after arriving in town. I was promptly and courteously greeted by Flynt, the manager and explained the issue. He promised to work me into his scheduled jobs and check out my vehicle. On 9/10, he informed me that I would need a rebuild to fix the problem. Although he estimated the repairs wouldn’t be completed until early the following week, he and co-manager Tony contacted me on Friday, 9/11 and told me they were making every effort to complete my repairs by end of the day on 9/11. After closing the shop on a Friday, Tony called me to inform me my vehicle was ready for pickup. The experience with this shop important for 2 reasons: #1. I had the transmission repaired by another shop a few years ago and it was not fixed right. #2. These guys knew I was stranded in Jackson and cared enough about me being stranded in Jackson to expedite my repairs. I am a big fan of the Coleman Taylor on Hwy 80 in Jackson, MS - these guys ROCK!!!
