Fairly basic visitor center with a few exhibits in Spanish so can rattle through in 10 minutes. There's also a gift shop and cafe if you want a longer visitor. Really it's just the starting point of the walk.

Very interesting place
It is a good stop, the cafeteria is pleasant and you can spend a few minutes walking around the exhibition
. A very good - and free - information centre, with good lavatories and an excellent shop. It only gets 4 stars, however, as there is hardly any information in English, (apart from the labels on the stuffed \Dear\ in the exhibition hall), and because the excellent displays are showing their age. Handles missing so the moving exhibits don't work, out-of-focus telescopes, missing bits here and there - when it was new and pristine it would have been so much better than it is now. But it is still well worth a visit - if you can understand Spanish. And the Botanical gardens opposite are worth a visit for keen gardeners. Or just for those who want a nice peaceful bench to sit on for a while. . .
Boring. The trip to it, on the other hand, is wonderful. Take your car, and enjoy the twisty roads through the national park.
