We tried this shop in the first half of our holidays and returned the same week. The meat was fresh and appealing on display and upon cooking was delicious, tasty and of an excellent quality. Pork chops were lean and succulent, the home fed bacon was excellent-no shrinkage here! Now the Wensleydale Sausage was something else! We also tried the bakery which had a really good choice of bread, although the lemon cake comes highly recommended (we went back for another!). I wish we could take this shop home with us.
Always call in for our sausages and and a beef joint. Best sausages for miles.
