Perhaps the best local butcher's this side of the Thames. Although I always seem to need them when they're shut, Mondays. Great selection of prepped dinners, pies, sauces, veg, cheeses, steaks, Wellingtons, poultry, you name it.

Not only is this one of the best suppliers of meat for miles around, the quality of the deli, fruit and veg is also excellent. Jerry and his team have done an amazing job through lockdown and continue to deliver not only local community business but a market leading source of BBQ and other cooking materials

Moved into the area from Marlow where I had a lovely butcher. Today was the 2nd time I visited and only walked away with eggs again because the service was disgraceful. Utterly rude. I usually spend between 100 to 150 each week on meat, cheese and eggs. I felt I could not patronize these premises because of such curt manners by the man who served me. I shall make the round trip to Marlow instead. Such a shame.

Out of the way, but worth the trip. Very popular so expect to wait, but it's worth it. Not many of these one-stop-shop butchers around, so when you find a good one don't keep it a secret!

With respect to the last review by a lady called Nina, I was in the shop at the time and was witness to this person and a family member clearly flouting the Covid rules, to everyone’s detriment. They were ignoring repeated requests by the staff, and customers, to follow the rules and were being rude and disrespectful. I would say that I have massive respect to any business that insists on their patronage following the rules they have put in place and being as protective of their customers as they are of their staff. This is an amazing butchers with the best produce and the best staff around, I will always shop here.
