Old established sandwich shop with excellent hero style sandwiches and salads. Heroes are served with toasted sesame buns, special oil sauce and a pickle. The heroes are a cut above any of the chain sandwich shops. You won't be disappointed. Cold beer, soft drinks and chips also available. Small patio available in back for outside dining. We have not had a better hero style sandwich in the valley and try to stop in whenever we are downtown. Highly recommend.

Small place we stopped by on the way to Encanto park. The menu is simple but the food was amazing. Crafted expertly by the gentleman who served us we had the grilled chicken and super Sicilian sandwiches and both were great. The super Sicilian absolutely melted in my mouth as I ate it. Don’t miss it if you love sandwiches!

Ever since 2004 I've been coming to Jp Mc Gurkee's Sandwich Shop, even our son loves the sandwiches! This family own sandwich shop has the best subs and I always get the turkey sub with either a side of potato salad or a bag of chips. The menu includes pasta, homemade classic pizza and salads which are delicious as well! It never disappoints I highly recommend bringing your family and friends to eat and enjoy the subs or anything from the menu!
