Great place to go as a hobbyist, they have a wide variety of soft/hard available with samples. Do Phone or email them 1 day before you want to collect. Cutting takes time, and they don't cut on Saturdays. Can thickness to any size you want, kick-starting any personal woodwork project. They are great with advice, and a visit to the store will let you browse their small collection of tools sold. They also hold some ironmongery, and have a coffee machine.
They are always happy to source wood what ever size you want.. Fast and efficient
decent place to get wood , seem to stock most stuff you would need , happy to cut it up into multiple pieces if asked , staff all polite , only thing i would say is be wary if buying stuff thats stored outside like fence posts or featherboard , ive some thats warped and not really good enough ...they also deliver
