Wonderful bread cakes & pastries. Please train your younger staff better & get them to put a smile on their face. Nothing worse than being served by a stroppy teen who really does'nt want to be there. Thank heavens for the more experienced ladies & their customer service. The 3 star is because of the abysmal service by a younger employee.

I bought a custom-made chocolate birthday cake from here and it was absolutely delicious. The staff are really friendly and clearly care about their cake designs. They made sure they understood exactly what I wanted and carried out the design perfectly. My friend also had a birthday cake made here a few weeks ago and that was just as good. Their doughnuts are also really yummy. There's often a queue of people out of the door of the bakery which is testament to the quality of their food.
Lovely fresh bread and lovely cakes. The cakes are on the pricey side.

Absolutely disgusted, I have been using Ayres for years, just had a colleage bring back a cheese salad french stick and this is what I got for the best part of 4 and they had only buttered 1 side, shameful
