Delicious homemade food, nice and cozy place, friendly staff and reasonable price ! Looked closed but went down the stairs and opened the door to find it actually open. They do take-away which was as good as the meal we had at the restaurant. Loved the meat in cabbage.

A bit dark tavern in the underground. Recommended by the free tour guides. A bit pricey and touristy. Out of two waiters, one was really nice and the other plain rude. The food is good. Starter (cheese with honey) was really special, pickled cabbage nice and the lamb average, too moist to my taste.

Everything was excellent! At first we didn't know what to expect from this place but we wanted to try the typical food in Bulgaria so we decide to enter and it was the best decision ever! They have various options to try and the quantity and quality is more than enough. The service was also very good. I would recommend it 100%
For those who can wait, come at 3-4pm and the place and attention is all for you. I loved the tarator and the chicken satch for a reasonable good price (considering the ambient and the waiter attention)
Recommended by the Free Sofia Walking tour. Mostly tourists for lunch but the food is excellent and serving sizes are very good. Rice with blue plums is great as are anything charred (purlenki, kebab). Up to date menus attached.
EXCELLENT food, AMAZING staff and LOVELY interior! Tucked away underground, this place is truly the gem of Sofia. The staff were amicable and confident with their recommendations, and I do not regret ordering everything that they’ve recommended. The dishes were spectacular, (especially the dolmas, cabbage rolls, which are not pictured; we finished them too quickly!) and there was not a single thing I was dissatisfied during the evening. Also, if you plan on visiting, you have to try their biscuit cake as dessert—it’s a must.
