The decor and ambience is lovely but this is my last visit. There are no vegan options for a quick coffee and cake. I was offered a snack bar (I've no problem with that), but good job I checked the ingredients before tucking in. It contained milk! OK, so there is nothing I can eat, I can just about live with that (although vegan cakes are simple to make so there really is no excuse nowadays) but giving me a snack bar with milk is unacceptable! My choice to be vegan is lifestyle, but imagine if I'd asked for vegan because I had an allergy and was given it... Please train your staff on dietary requirements and consider vegan (and other) dietary options. I'm not the only vegan in Bridport that would like to come here more often. Thank you. update As I paid i mentioned to the assistant that there were no vegan options. She said \We don't get asked often\... OK, so how about just baking inclusively? You had scones, if they were made with rice or oat milk and vegan spread NO-ONE would be able to tell, but I could have had one. They don't need to be special vegan ones. How about biscuits, people eat Oreos, hobnobs, ginger nuts, bourbon biscuits without thinking. They're all vegan. I'm not asking you to bake extra cakes for me, I'm asking you to bake inclusively so the maximum number of people can enjoy the food. Good business sense, huh?

Great food and friendly staff . Trace and track in place ! Social distancing and great ordering and paying system. Booking advised for coffee but as they're was only two of us they found a table for us . The staff escort you to your table which is just like the old days . Made Covid restrictions almost bearable!!

Our usual stop off for coffee and light bite in the morning and a nice outdoor garden centre.

Stopped here for lunch at the end of our holiday hadn’t booked got scowled at and said there would be a long wait I said Ok how about we sit outside response was “Have you seen the Weather ?“ the lady was doing her best to turn us away! I continued to order to take away instead got the order and sat outside glad we didn’t go to the car luckily we didn’t because only half of the order was in the bag!! I went back in to collect the rest of the order and took my seat outside again and proceeded to open my prawn sandwich which had a lovely black hair staring me in the face !!agas I walked back in to complain and the woman was disputing it until I eventually got her to see it they refunded the cost of the sandwich but no apology I also got a glimpse of the chefs who were not wearing hair coverings. We visited 26th Oct 2020

Went in for a coffee, ordered 3 capachinoes hot chocolate, and a bacon bap took about 15 minutes, all came out lukewarm, very disappointing, staff need to be a bit quicker, Abbotsbury gardens we got what we ordered HOT CHOCOLATE, SAME with otter nersaries, couldn't fault otter nersaries.
