We were fortunate enough to go out on a full day's kayaking trip on the last day of the season - it was brilliant. The equipment was in excellent condition and the instructors inspired confidence, even when the weather changed briefly and dramatically. We are definitely coming back for more trips, especially, as some of the day was in Gaelic! Couldn't be better....

Kevin took great care of us and seemed knowledgeable. Great equipment too. Saw some otters and a glimpse of porpoises. A seal even popped its head up a couple of times. We always felt safe on this wet and windswept day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely kayaking experience which we would highly recommend. Thanks for the photos!
We had an incredible full day out with South Sea Kayak. The weather was calm and clear and Kevin took the opportunity to give us some coaching on skills and technique, which was much appreciated and really well delivered. We even spotted a few otters on the route. Thanks Kevin, Ali and Angus!
A friend and I had a superb three days of paddling, enjoying both the beauty of Skye and learning lots, using excellent quality boats and kit. Kevin and Janni, and Bradley and Angus have a lovely relaxed approach to teaching and guiding, meaning that the days are thoroughly enjoyable and informative. And I got my otter sighting! So a hat trick for me: exploring; learning; Ring of Bright Water obssession. I'll be back guys, but at least I'm cured now..... :-)
We had an incredible full day of kayaking with Kevin towards the end of October. The weather was typically Scottish and he chose a route that would be sheltered from the worst of the wind. We were supplied with excellent gear which kept us warm throughout the day. We had never kayaked before but Kevin was able to make us comfortable paddling in the kayaks fairly quickly. Kevin has excellent knowledge of the area and we visited a Coral beach and abandoned village. To top it all off we were able to get up close to an otter just minding its own business. It was a really memorable experience and well deserving of all the 5-star reviews
