A very picturesque location to camp. A reasonably flat grassy area set between two beautiful beaches. No toilet facilities, but there is a tap for fresh water. A popular camping area so you'll probably won't be alone. An honesty box is provided for those stopping overnight. At 10 a night it's worth every penny.

This beach is also very good but not as good as Luskentyre beach in Isle of Harris. Has a very large area of shallow water, I mean it is huge! Water is clean and blue. Beach has no wave. Has a nice camping spot with access to clean water for caravans. The tide is away into the horizon and not the shore so that's a small downside.

What a fantastic wild camping spot. It is a working farm and there are water and rubbish facilities; to help with the upkeep there is an honesty box with a payment of 10 for your stay. The beaches are absolutely stunning and the sea is very shallow which makes it safe for the kids to play. Anyone visiting North Uist should take time to visit and stay over. Just don't get caught out when traveling from the south with a sign which says \Clachan sands\ this is a dead end, the sign you want which is a sort distance further says \Clachan sands cemetery\ & \Beach Access

This really is a hidden gem, absolutely amazing camping area on some of the most beautiful beaches. Will most certainly be visiting again. The waters are surprisingly warm to so nice for a swim.

This place has fresh water and two picnic tables. Please pay the 10 a night charge it’s used for the water and big waste bin costs. You can easy walk or cycle around the whole head land.
