I have used M Dive for a few years and i have to say that they have been great. Always trying to help as best as they can. I am not interested in there accounts as stated in the other review. My review is based on the performance of the divers helping us and the willingness of both Murdo and his staff to assist me.

I find myself writing this review as a warning not only potential customers of MDive but more importantly to anybody considering forwarding a CV to them or taking a position in the company. I have recently completed an extensive diver training course and was about to forward my CV to Murdo Smith at MDive when the training instructor at the dive centre where i qualified told me that under no circumstances should I accept employment with this company. It transpires that two recent employees have left the company within weeks of starting. Following interviews where salaries and terms were agreed, Murdo Smith quickly reneged his offers with various excuses for it being a misunderstanding, within days of starting it became apparent members of staff hadn't been paid for three weeks on weekly pay terms, staff moral was rock bottom and Smith spent more time avoiding creditors than working on site, a look at the company accounts through companies house confirmed matters. Moving on to more serious matters of health and safety during the weeks the two short term employees were with MDive they reported illegal working practices, equipment which was broken and not fit for purpose and an overall lack of professionalism, again, the business is being run on a shoe string. In closing, I would deter anybody from taking a job with MDive, look at the accounts, ask around within the industry, the bad practices and dangerous short cuts have been reported to the relevant bodies and also to the training centres with the safety of future employees been paramount.

I completed several weeks of work here and I was paid 3 and 4 weeks late for it. An evasive and difficult to reach Director when owing money.
