Absolutely fantastic place! My wife and I stopped by 2 years ago and I bought a ball cap (one of a kind) and have worn it every day since...then in the car it flew off my head! and was never to be seen again... We contacted the shop and wow, they had one in stock and was able to ship it to the United States, great quality and great customer service. I would recommend their shop to anyone looking for Scottish attire and accessories. We will be shopping here again.

The owner was really nice and showed us around immediately. While not being super big, the mill has a nice old Charme. They have a small shop in case you want to buy some of the wool (in form of clothing) that they usually sell around the world. The area around is also particularly nice for a walk in the woods if you fancy. Bring some boots as it can get a little bit muddy and you don’t want to ruin pretty shoes.

A old workshop in a wonderful setting. I did not expect to be welcomed by the owner himself who had a dry sense of humor and a lot of stories to tell. Walk around the building, the setting is beautiful.

A true national treasure. Can there be any more complete experience than shaking the hand of the man who has woven the material you have just purchased. This has to be a front runner in the accolade of \most beautiful retail experience in Britain.\ The setting right down to a pounding waterfall cannot be bettered. I have shopped there for 40 years now and still have a the suit made from dark blue cashmere material purchased in the early 80s. Cannot recommend a visit highly enough.

Very friendly family owned business, if you are interested in wool production you should definitely visit this place, the shop, which belongs also to this enterprise, presents its customers a great range of wool products from scarfs to classical tweed suits, after your nice shopping experience you could stroll around in the nearby located forest with its nice walking trails.
