We arrived for a late lunch on a Sunday, and it appeared that every tourist on the Isle was here. That proved to be the case as I think that it was the only cafe open on Harris. There weren't and sandwiches left but we were treated to a delicious soup and roll, the flap jacks and very good coffee. Despite the rush our host was probably still the most cheerful person on the place. Temple is an interesting edifice looking onto some of the best beaches in the world.

This place felt like a hidden gem. We were on a cycling holiday and came across this cafe. It had a magical atmosphere, with herbs and preserves on display. I had a delicious herbal tea. Views were great too.

Great lunchtime pit stop on the bikes for soup and vegetarian sausage rolls. Meadow Sweet pastries and coffee also excellent. Staff were absolutely delightful. Thanks!

Fantastic... delighted to see this wonderful place open again. Soup, Flapjacks, brownies (wow) and coffee .. plus the stunning view of course. All we needed to complete our cycling circuit of Harris. Thanks very much

This bakery/deli is an absolute joy. The location, food and staff are equally wonderful. The brownies, bramble balsamic, and chubby flat whites deserve a special mention. The coffee is easily the best in the Hebrides. There are several tables outside overlooking beautiful salt flats and white sand beach. Very easy to comply with social distancing and they have lovely rosemary and mint hand sanitisers on arrival. There is a lovely, easy walk from Temple through machair overlooking Scarista beach down to Rubh' an Teampaill. Lots of white sand coves and beaches, and highland cows en route, with the ruins of a medieval chapel on the headland.
