Definitely in my top five best fish 'n' taters EVER!!! Cod & chips to take away. When I opened the box, there was also a nice wedge of fresh lemon and a pot of tartare sauce. Can't recommend it enough. Only downer is, I live over 100 miles away!!

Delicious food, the best chip shop chips ive had in ages, you can tell they are fried in proper oil and not that palm oil/frymax stuff. Good social distancing in place and hand sanitiser on entry. We ate ours on the beach and got a seafood platter to take home for tea.
Just moved to Mersea, found this place did GF, so wife was happy to try, Really good, fish good size chips cooked well, nice touch the slice of lemon and tub of tartar sauce. Sorry for me the tartar sauce is a bit vinegary, prefer it a bit tart. Highly recommended the place.
Chip appearance looked as if they wouldn't be great but was actually very nice. Gf's cod looked lovely and flakey and she liked. Wouldn't hesitate coming back only gripe is it was a little costly but otherwise still very nice
Excellent chips - fat AND crispy. Batter was top notch. Some of the best Fish and Chips I’ve had. Also had a fresh seafood bar.
