Dishonest, incompetent. My laptop has a cracked screen for years and works fine. Today it went blank. I took it to Computers Today. BIG mistake. They plugged it in and tried to switch it on, and told me I need a new panel which they will get from Lahore/Karachi and will cost me Rs. 25,000-28,000. I was shocked at the cost I am about to face. By some miracle, I walked out of this shop and into 'Xtra Computers' at the same location. At Xtra Computers, one of the representatives took my laptop into his work area and within 5 seconds, came out with my laptop SCREEN ON and PERFECTLY FUNCTIONAL!!!! He said I had just mistakenly pressed the projector button so the screen switched off. IT WAS FINE and Computers Today was going to TAKE IT off and make me pay Rs. 25,000-28,000 for a new one!!!!! God knows what they were going to do with my perfectly functional, original panel!! I went back and told them they are robbing people and dishonest. The man denied checking my laptop - the EXTENT of their dishonesty!! Save your money, don't go to Computers Today.
