Hands down the best playground for toddlers I’ve been to so far. My 2.5 years old had a blast playing here! It has three different playgrounds inter-connected and all of them have a safety design in mind so that I didn’t have to overstress about my tot falling down from a high place. I love that the sands were pretty clean and that the playgrounds are spread out so that we can practice social/distancing (or avoid people without a mask) during pandemic.

Beautiful place to take pictures with a nice fountain, flowers, and a little waterfall for prom, weddings, Quinceaneras, graduations, all events. Big park to play soccer, baseball, with beautiful green grass. Big playgrounds for children to play, and nice, wide sidewalks to run, ride bikes, social distancing. Nice place for family gatherings, with picnic tables.

Brought food and blankets to have a picnic in the park with some friends. Played a few board/card games while sitting on the grass. There are several tables but they were all full. Plenty of shade. Well kept park.

Beautiful park with amazing landscape. The parking lots and fields are not clearly defined or identified for city use so it may be difficult to locate your field or choose the best parking lot for access to your field. But, once is enough to familiarize oneself! There is a wonderful sidewalk that makes walking easy as you supervise your child at play. Be aware that cyclists come off the bike trail and take over the sidewalk to access the restrooms. But everyone is courteous and the sidewalks are wide enough to scoot over if you hear a cyclist.

Bill Barber Memorial Park is another one of Irvine's 268 park system. It is directly adjacent to Irvine City Hall/ Civic center. It is the location of many Annual festivals and cultural events. It has baseball fields, softball field, soccer, vast open space, kids play equipment with individual areas for swings and climbing structures. There are all the peripheral things necessary for picnicking such as grills, tables, seating areas, concessions stands for during the many sporting tournaments etc. There's also a dog training course courtesy of the Irvine Police department, on the far side of the parking lots next to the left field entrance to Debbra Manning softball field. On a daily basis, many people find this a quiet place to exercise with a walk, or just relax and contemplate the day by a beautiful waterfall on a secluded bench. There is also a building for Irvine's child development center and it's incredibly beautiful as well. It is a perfect place to take the kids for their extra curricular activities and fun community classes. I highly recommend just spending an hour walking around and taking it all in. Enjoy!!
