Always used the fish shop happy with it in the past Had cod large chips and peas last night but it was well below par . Long waiting times too Masses of batter very little fish and it was dry. Chips were very soggy Both of us had terrible indigestion afterwards . Really disappointed

Ordered 22 quids worth of fish n chips etc at 4.45 pm for a 6.30 pm delivery today still waiting for it at 7pm and they're not answering their phone, what sort of service is this? Took my money quick enough!
Hit or miss this gaff, frequently sub standard food served, undercooked overcooked, not hot enough for instance. The cod Fish can be out of this world or a little past its best. Outrageously long waits on occasion. Three people waiting for the elephant trunk kebab to warm up tonight whilst what I had ordered was sat in the cabinet and made to wait in the freezing cold. Eleven minutes for a portion of chips a battered banger and a Savoy. Some Staff never dressed for food preparation either, tonights till operative in his coat. The chap serving in a hoody. The fryer had whites and a apron on I'm glad to say. C'mon chaps sharpen up a bit.
Really good fish and chips, fast service and doing the covid safe thing well.
