Worst agency ever. They just woke me up to tell me I was lucky that they had found a better tour for me and I had to get ready in half hour to then find out that they didn't reach the minimum number and they just put me on another tour that costs way less.

Walter delivers! The lodge is great. Go on tours out into close but rich jungle, see many, many types of animals, insects, fish and birds both day and (just as good) at night. See local villages, take a deep, deep mud bath, swim it off, fish, do a visual hunt for caiman, monkeys, tons of different birds, etc and be back just as you're exhausted for a GREAT meal. Food in the selva was really, really good. Simple, subtle, tuned like a Ferrari. Our group was really pleased. Guides like Raul are well versed and local -- not just to Iquitos but to the selva. Two hours or less by rapido boat and you are there. Set just above water in high water season or high in stilts during low water season, we were there during the latter and it was great. I am sure high water is great too. With all the pushy hustle and whispers of scam tours in Iquitos, Walter really came through and gave our group of Dutch, Spanish, Israeli and American backpackers an amazing 4 days. I didn't want it to end. Recommended.
