We have used Hawkins Chartered Surveyors twice now and found Hugh very helpful ,he will give you good information and will always listen to the way you want or would like your building to look. Very happy at the cost to draw up the plans . Would definitely suggest him to any family members and friends . Thanks Hugh for a great Job E & C

All previous surveys we did were so generic, copy & paste, standard and unhelpful that this time we considered buying a house with no survey at all. Gladly, Home Owners Alliance have a handy surveyor finder tool which allows you to find local, reputable experts. We are so happy we found this firm and Hugh! His survey report was easy to read and very thorough, with photographs and an action plan for both us and a solicitor. Issues were identified that we would not have spotted ourselves and Hugh kindly walked us through the report to make sure we understood his findings (no surveyor before offered this option!). Moreover he was available for any questions, even afterwards, and kindly shared his expert advice on the local area (Ipswich) that is new to us. Thank you so much, Hugh!
I asked Hawkins Surveyors to survey a property that I was purchasing because they were the most reasonably priced I could find in the area. They arrived bang on time and were very thorough with their work whilst being courteous and polite. The report arrived a few days later - much quicker that I expected and the detail it contained was above and beyond what I though it would be. Several months after the survey I emailed them with a query regarding the condition of a wall. Instead of giving me a short generic reply, they came to visited me and discuss it. Again giving me that personal touch of which only a small family run business could. If you couldn't tell, I'm over the moon with the service that I received from Hawkins Surveyors and I couldn't recommend them highly enough!
