Really pleasant and professional expert. Dave managed to repair and improve a clock belonging to an elderly neighbour. The clock was of great sentimental value and Dave was sensitive to this throughout. Great communication, swift service and easy to do business with even during lockdown ! Highly recommended.

Mr Bearcroft has just serviced my 200 year old French clock with a count wheel strike. I am delighted with the result. Firstly it was gaining in time; now it is absolutely bang on, which I think is remarkable for a clock of this age. There was also a problem with the strike which is now fully rectified. Mr Bearcroft is incredibly experienced, skilled and knowledgeable. He gave me a lot of very useful information as to how to care for my family heirloom which originally belonged to my great grandfather. I am very grateful to Mr Bearcroft.
My Victorian barometer was beautifully repaired and restored very promptly by David Bearcroft. He thought one of the external decorative pieces had been previously repaired and was not very well done so he made a new piece which looked and fitted much better , and made the whole appearance more balanced. Very very pleased with the result!
David repaired a clock and a barometer for me which had both been in the family for many years, he completed a truly excellent job on both items. David is a true craftsman, I would highly recommend.
