We spent a lovely day with Wendy, our driver. She showed us the beauty of the Isle of Skye and Loch Ness while she amazed us with very good explanations about everywhere we went. We recommend 100% to travel with Iona Highland Tours! We would like to repeat!

Fantastic tour, whatever your goals. The knowledge of the local environment, history and attractions is top notch. Puts the customer first and immerses you in history. Companionable tour guide, superb driving, excellent flexibility.
Appreciated them taking the last minute booking. Minor complaints would be the cheese sandwich for lunch (can we get some meat on that?), and twice we drove past the big tourist stops and instead stopped down the road with the promise that the photos would be better. They weren't. Especially Old Man of Storr... can't even see it in my photo. You need to stop where everyone else does.
Ali was our driver for our 1 day tour to Fort Augusta, Loch Ness and Culloden Battlefield. We had a great time and with Ali's in depth knowledge and personal touches made this day one of the best we have had in a very long time. 5 out of 5 for Ali and Iona Highland Tours. We shall return. xxx
Kind, knowledgeable, small tours of the Highlands. Wendy pointed out the first storm of winter rolling into Applecross, while we watched from the steep black bluffs of Skye. It was beautiful. We’ll never forget that afternoon. “Iona Highland Tours” isn’t a big operation. It’s Wendy, plus some family and seasonal help. We only got to meet Wendy. She is a true gem, makes a fantastic warming soup, and adores this landscape. Her passion is infectious. Truly great experience.
