Detailed & Intuitive! The Investment Banking Institute online courses provide an array of financial modeling techniques for all different purposes, such as M&A, LBO, and Valuation modeling. The videos allow you to understand how to navigate through the models and what many of the items represent. This is a great learning tool for both students and professionals, I highly recommend it!

This is an excellent course with real-world applications. Chuck Bush and Reuben Advani are veterans in the finance world and give you an in-depth look at financial modeling and practical application.

I did a good amount of research before enrolling in this course. Coming from an Econ major I wasn't sure that I could make it into full fledged finance. I do recommend the course for those who want to upgrade their resume and learn the practical skills of financial analyst. I called their office for more information and ended up making an appointment to see the school and preview the materials. I also spoke to one of the instructors who has been a banker for about 15 years. I definitely had some doubts about being able to learn the material well enough to help me in a new job. The course was very well thought. Started out with basic information but moved pretty quickly into financial modeling on Excel. You also have to spend time doing homework if you want to stay current in the sessions. The program has free class retakes, repetition is key here, I had no problem learning the material, but the option to keep practicing was a big selling point for me. It would have been very useful if courses like these were taught in college; the practical aspect of the course was what really attracted me to it, and the reason I enrolled.

This class was very helpful to me. I took it because a family friend recommended it, he had done it a few years ago, and said it was the best thing I could do to help my chances of finding a job. The instructor was very professional, he also knew everything about investment banking and private equity. I even met with him privately to help prepare for an interview and revise my resume. I would definitely recommend this class, but I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the laptop they gave me was kind of heavy, anyone doing this class should bring their own laptop because it will probably be better than the free ones they give you, otherwise it was great.

This past weekend I completed the IBI Training here in Los Angeles, and I wanted to drop you a little note to express my gratitude for the course, and to specifically compliment the instructor Chuck Bush. Chuck possesses all the great attributes of a proficient instructor; he was well versed in the subject, patient, and made himself available to answer any questions. It was specifically welcoming that he took the time to come in early and stay late, in order to meet with students and address their concerns. As an adult learner and someone new to the financial modeling world, I could not have asked for a better teacher. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking to get started in investment banking.

It was a wonderful learning experience. I took the classes in 2009 and it really changed the way i invested and did my accounting for better. Please learn Excel before you take this class.
