The gardens were so beautiful and colourful. Walked for a while around the grounds and just relaxed by a HUGE oak tree. The castle looked so quaint and everything was so neat and calming. It was a great day taking our time exploring the surrounding area.

A well laid out parking for all and an accessible parking closer to the castle. Family friendly and from the exterior the paths looked wheelchair accessible too. The grounds provide a beautiful walk set in the heart of the countryside.

Beautiful castle, gardens and grounds. Cracking spot for lunch on a quiet day, though it would have been nicer if the quiche of the day had lasted more than 45minutes into lunch (we arrived at 12:46). They do often have events on in the adjacent field during summer season (esp' weekends), so check in advance if you wish to be undisturbed.

The tour guide Peter Stock is very witty and patiently answered my questions. He told us the important details of Castle Fraser without boring us. There was also the Tea Room where we could have light refreshments. I had a Cappuccino with the Rocky Road cake. Enjoyed it
