Paul at PLD Smiddy ,took on the job of investigating the source of a leak from above the fuel tank. I had taken it to a local garage in the 1st instance and they said it was one of the a Fuel tank's Suction stack pipes that was corroded and leaking diesel but weren't prepared to repair it hence I contacted PLD Smiddy's. Paul the owner, did an exceptional job even making a video of the process to show me how he sourced the leak and repaired it. It turned out not to be either of the 2 suction stack pipes at all but on the tank itself. So much for the garage's diagnosis. I could have ended up buying expensive parts that weren't needed. I wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone especially if it's a tricky job other companies are reluctant to take on. Can't thank him enough for the great job he did for me. John Meldrum.
