These folks went the extra hundred miles to complete the purchase details of our property. We purchased sight unseen and the property was found to be as presented, both pros and cons. As we were the buyers Leslie was representing the seller and did so in a straight forward HONEST fashion. A 10 thumbs up experience. Yes we would do business with Inverness Properties again, buying or selling.

Leslie has helped us find two homes over the time we have been living in Cape Breton - and the Mabou/Port Hood area is not an easy place to find property. She was always available, quick to respond, quick to set up viewings and extremely knowledgeable about the properties and the areas we looked at. She understood values fairly, not inflating or overselling the worth of a place, usually knew the selling history if there was one, and was always straight with us about the details. We couldn't ask for a better realtor. Thank you so much Leslie!

Unethical, incompetent or a little of both. First tried to contact them for a property they were representing. When I finally got a hold of them they basically tried to discourage me from pursuing and kept mentioning that someone else was interested. We then found a different home we were interested in which these "realtors" were also representing. It took days for them to get back to our realtor to set up a showing and then when we were negotiating it seemed as if they were doing everything in their power to make it difficult and stall progress. They missed deadlines for counter-offers, claimed "not to see e-mails" in the middle of negotiating, and were completely unprofessional. Absolute rubbish. Their own clients eventually got fed up with them and reached out to us on their own and we were finally able to come up with something we were all happy with. Paul and Leslie seemed only interested in impeding the process. They just seem really slack in general. The deal is officially closed and they still have the home listed for sale, not even pending. I cannot believe they are allowed to keep their licences. BEWARE!

I have worked with a lot of realtors, both in Nova Scotia and Ontario, and, with two exceptions, they were mediocre to terrible. Leslie is one of the exceptions. She went above and beyond for us - from trekking through the overgrown property with us as we tried to find the property line to being available and prompt when it came to answering emails and returning phone calls. My husband and I found her to be incredibly honest and up front about any issues or concerns. As an added bonus, she is a really nice human being. We would work with her again, 100%.

Terrible service, unprofessional. Lied through our whole negotiation process. Too bad people around here don't often leave reviews because I have heard MANY horror stories about people having terribly dealings with the "realtors"
