Drive through was quick for our larger order, the blizzards were all flipped as expected. I enjoyed the chicken fingers, but not a big fan of the fries here. Service was friendly at the window. Decent quick stop on our way home from Panorama.

I pulled a 7” long, black hair out of my small blizzard from here. This Dairy Queen poses a public health risk. We have been here twice before, and their drive thru service has always been no problem. Tonight we decided to walk in. There were absolutely no COVID-19 protocols, and their chairs were all stacked against the wall. A dirty mop bucket and in use mop were in the middle of the restaurant. I was also turned off by their still operational fountain pop machine. Come on. I ordered a blizzard with extra topping and was told I would need to pay for 3x extra topping if I wanted it to include all recipe ingredients. My part time job at Dairy Queen is now many years behind me, but I distinctly remember the “extra topping” being the full recipe, unless the customer specifically stated they wanted double of everything. Regardless, we ordered our food, it came fast, and we left. Unfortunately, I proceeded to eat the top layer of ice cream before coming across the hair. I’ve attached photos, and a video with my review. I will be filing a public health complaint, and will not be returning to this location.

We usually order the crispy chicken sandwich with the flame thrower sauce added. Yummy as always. But the chicken piece seemed a bit skimpier than what we get in Ontario? Are the chickens in BC smaller?
Banana Split all the way! I like DQ. Their burgers are good, their blizzards are great and their Banana Splits are best!
