Usually great but wasted a trip and parking charges due to misinformation. the shop was NOT open on sunday at all, despite advertised on google as open until 4.30.
Friendly staff and owner, great choice without being *too* much of a jumble. Good range of clothes for different shapes and sizes and seasons. Other bits and bobs. Reasonably priced considering it's an indepedent. Nothing bad about it really. Not a fan of being \helped\ in clothes shops but always feels authentic here.
I have shopped here loads of times, always helpful, always great quality, I for one will continue to shop here, in fact I bought a great fabulously warm rainbow jacket here this morning. My son has also purchased clothes from here, he prefers this shop to the shops in Exeter.
While the woman who owns the shop seems friendly, bought a \genuine leather belt\ which a few months on had fallen apart, bits of the false leather have flaked off and the tearing is immemse. It has since snapped in half. The same can be said for all the trousers and shirts i had bought there, all fallen to pieces. Got an identical pair on trousers on ebay for 2 that have lasted me longer than the 20 harem pants that i got in this very store. I was once a regular customer, but definately won't be shopping there again. I've also heard how the lady treats her staff, and it's not nice. Don't understand how the two shops are still afloat after all the bad reviews i've heard from friends. Decided i'd take mine to the web since my friends can't be bothered. A friend that worked there for a short while revealed to me how cheap her stock is when bought for the store, add about annother 15 on top and that's the price it's sold on for. Defininatelly would not reccomend this shop to anyone unless they intend to burn their money away.
