Camped down the road so had to walk a mile along the river then thru the woods to get Into The Woods! The place is magical. Fab beer and food. Great atmosphere with precautions in place but not OTT. Could go to the bar order drinks and pay in cash! How we miss the simple things Landlord and staff/family friendly and attentive. Go enjoy and support this fabulous local. We will be back in 2021. Stay safe.

Unusual place, from the outside its a gorgeous old pub, the inside however is a bit odd, bit like a social club/youth club type setting. The outside area is lovely to sit, but sadly there are rooms you can see into, which are full of furniture, old bits n pieces, which is such a shame, as you can tell its a popular place for holiday makers. The staff are very friendly, and the service excellent.
Had a table inside. Only one GF dish available but was really nice. Portion sizes were good and arrived quickly. Got the eat out discount which was great. My only complaint and why I took 2 stars off was because the bar person and a customer who obviously knew each other had a totally inappropriate conversation that we were able to hear clearly.
What a warm welcome from the owners of this bar. Felt like we were in our local pub straight away. Husband had a wonderful chicken curry, very fresh and tasty and i had a lovely sandwich and fries. Very casual atmosphere, no airs or graces, just pleasant and comfortable. Wish we'd found it on our first day of our holiday.
Great find. Really welcoming; good food and drink; pub games and a quirky look and feel. Well worth a visit!
