Great place and great instructors. It keeps you fit in a fun and useful way. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending it to anyone who’s interested in trying it out

I had a really good experience at this club and I would recommend it to anybody regardless of their physical level. The instructor and all the members of the club were really welcoming and the instructor explained clearly every movement or transition. I am personally quite fit and with a karate, taekwondo background, nonetheless I have learned a lot and pushed me to improve even further.

I first went to ikms 10 years ago when I was a teenager and was underweight. In 2 moves I could throw the heaviest man in class. I stopped going when I moved city but when I moved back to Glasgow and went back (overweight and with health problems) the instructor was just as good (and remembered me!) In my experience this place is good for people that are unfit to get in shape and to learn self protection. I’m less scared to go outside and more confident as a person.

I have been training with IKMS since July of 2013 and the club has really changed my life. I went from being very overweight to being fighting fit. John Miller is by far the most experienced Krav Maga instructor in Glasgow and he is able to inspire his students to new levels of determination that they never knew they were capable of. He takes the time to ensure that you understand the techniques and how they could be applied in a real life situation. All of the club members are very nice folks and come from all types of backgrounds. The adult classes are made up of a pretty even split of male and female and the ages range from mid-teens to people in rheir 70s. It really goes to show that Krav Maga is for everyone! If you are reading this now and are considering trying Krav Maga, just go for it! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Hope to see you at training soon!
