Coffee was good, but hot chocolate was pretty awful (too sweet and did not even taste of chocolate). Service was also pretty average.

This place caught my eye from far! It was the name and the red. Very cosy and warm inside, they have vegetarian & vegan options, coffee tastes great, they use biodegradable cups, paper straws and staff are ever so chirpy and friendly. It was open after 5pm. I don't know if that was luck or if it's usually open that late. Most Cafes, coffee shops, tea-rooms in the area close by 3-4pm in winter. Lavatory isn't too clean unfortunately.
We go most Sundays after a good long walk in the Peak District, in my opinion this is one of the best coffee shops in Derbyshire excellent coffee very friendly staff always clean would definitely recommend
