I moved to my new house in October of 2018 and there were two main items on my list for renovation. The first was the bathroom in the master bedroom. Derek took care of the purchasing of the tiles and toilet plus the sink and did his best to save me money where he could. Derek turned a bathroom styled in the 1980's into a stylish comfortable modern bathroom that I use every day. The second was the smoke when I cooked meat on the stove as it would set off the smoke alarm, Derek installed a vent that exhausts out of the roof for my stove from the hood, this installation works great. Derek was on time and always contacted me if there was a delay or concern with any of the parts I had chosen. Derek sent me a written quote easy to understand with payments as the job progressed and a reasonable deposit that I had no question about paying. So far Derek has done my main bathroom, my upgrade to the foundations of my house, painted and wall papered my living room. Also, the plumbers and electricians Derek called in for power and water work were of the highest quality. Over all I am completely satisfied with the work Derek has done for me so far. 5 Stars. Herb

Derek was working next door when I asked him if he'd be interested in doing a small job for us. Derek came over to have a look and it didn't take long to realize we had the right man. His positive attitude and professionalism, before, during and after completion of the work were very much appreciated. Derek's willingness to engage us in the work, demonstrated his commitment to customer service. I would highly recommend Derek and will not hesitate to contact him for any future work we may require. We asked Derek to fix several items to get our house ready to put on the market and he did a great job. His finishing work is fantastic and his experience sure shows in how quickly and well he fixed everything. I would recommend him to anyone. I am going to start off this review by saying that if it was possible to rate this company any higher than 5 stars I would have in a heartbeat. I have tried a number of home improvement / renovation companies over the years with different houses I have owned and none of come close to Western Pride Home Services. After our first meeting with Derek, I knew we were in good hands. Not only did he walk us through the process, but he was able to provide a quick (and accurate) estimate for the work. Derek is very honest, informative and patient – I don’t know how many times we’ve changed our minds and called him last minute with questions! If you are looking for someone who is honest and genuinely cares, Derek is the guy to call! Derek is trustworthy & hardworking. He is flexible, reasonably priced for sure & provides excellent customer service. I have already asked him to start on a second project for us and I am recommending him to others I know. So glad I found this company!
