Perfect place to take a deep breath. It's about 2.5km up. The way is easy to walk, and over there between the trees is very fresh. The are restrooms up there if need. Wonderful place. So recommend

Absolutely breathtaking. I went in summer, but still want to visit during winter and fall. The area is apparently most beautiful during fall. The name 자작 (Jajak) is derived from the sound the trees make when they burn.
Was there Feb 2018 when its coverer with ice. Amazing.

'the forest of whispering birch'. it doesn't looks like korea. many korean feels like Northern Europe. summerwinter seasons are highly recommended. and entrance fee is free.
