A long, safely distanced queue greeted us as we turned the corner. There's a one-way system in place & only 2 customers allowed in at a time. But, it is all worth it. At 6.50 for a fish & chips, freshly cooked & served on greaseproof paper in a cardboard box, it's all done with big smiles and jokes between staff and customers. We've been in winter when it's relatively quiet, and now on a very busy day full of tired waterfall walkers, and both times it's been perfect. We will return, many times.

Beautiful freshly cooked cod and chips after a rainy Ingleton waterfall trail. Cod was amazing and batter very light and crispy. All cooked fresh and with seats available to use inside and outside the shop.
I would love to say the food was great or terrible however my good lady set off at 6.15 got there for 6.30 and it was closed but on the website says closes at 7.30. To be fair though the fish and chips on the photos look bangin
After a wet rainy hike was perfect to smell fish and chips on our way back to the car park. Was dubious at first, as there were no customers and the place looked a little run down. Staff were friendly and told me that the haddock was the more popular order so got the haddock and chips (6.50) to eat in. Inside was small and limited seating, also there was rubbish all over the eating area which the staff couldn't see as its around the corner on the counter. Aside from that, the fish and chips were very tasty and you could tell the fish was fresh. No little black bits on the food either, indicating that they use fresh oil. Definitely recommend a visit :)
Long wait while on holiday for chips on thursday but well worth the wait, great fish, chips,mushy peas & great price.
