My daughter was initially seen and prescribed medication with plans to f/u with the provider in 3 months. Due to COVID, this did not happen right on time. Here I am now, nearly a year later with no follow up appointment. Every time I try to call to schedule an appointment, I can never get ahold of anyone. I either end up waiting on hold for an extended amount of time or leave a message for someone to call me back and still no luck. I am very frustrated and will return to my child's pediatrician to get a referral to a different pediatric urologist. I am very disappointed.

Absolutely terrible communication. I called weeks in advance to see when labs would need to be done before my daughter's surgery so I could schedule work accordingly. They then called at noon on a Monday a week prior to when I was originally told they'd need to be done, giving me 5 hours to get to the lab and rearrange appointments we had that day. We had complications after her surgery, spent 8 hours in the ED and were finally admitted to a room around 430am. Communication between urology and the ED & floor nursing staff was very chaotic. She was only visited by urology in the morning and they wouldn't have answers to my questions. The urology resident said he would follow up and wouldn't. The nurses were kind enough to page them MULTIPLE times trying to get a response. We spent over 12 hours in the hospital after they said we would be discharged because they couldn't get urology to sign off. Absolutely infuriating to go through as a parent and experience that lack of concern for your child. - Five stars to the 9W nursing staff giving her direct patient care on both visits. They were fantastic.

My son's surgery got pushed up by a week and I didn't get a phone call with details about the surgery (like what time it was scheduled for until the day before surgery)! Their communication stinks! I think details should be given more in advance so parents have info needed to take off work and arrange for daycare!!
