Many maintenance calls will result in meeting a new, unqualified person that you will never see again. It’s easier to reach someone in the office than it was before. I did the legwork for the person I signed with. Make sure you have everything in writing.

Update 2/8/21: Finally spoke to someone in the billing department who confirmed my security deposit had never been sent out and then added that the person I spoke to doesn’t know how to read account ledgers- go figure. UPDATED 1/2/21: it’s been an ENORMOUS PAIN to get my security deposit back. Office staff failed to update my forwarding address after giving it 1. In person and 2. in a written note along with my keys upon move out. Finally got them to add a forwarding address and now it’s been 30 days since they claim to have sent the security deposit and it still has not been received. —————————— I absolutely LOVE my apartment. Reverie has done a terrific job maintaining and highlighting the original character of their communities. The management team is always quick to reply and provide wonderful customer service. I've had a few service requests in the past couple months and the service team is quick, professional and communicate clearly if/when parts must be ordered. Overall very happy with my choice to rent with Reverie and recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable apartment to call home!
This is the 2nd time I have rented from Reverie Estates. Niko was fabulous and assisted me in getting my 2nd apartment! Their maintenance crew is the best! When I rented from Central State Mansion, I placed the majority of the maintenance calls for the common areas. It was immediately addressed. The custodial staff is fabulous in keeping the common area clean! Angel the bookkeeper is awesome as well!! My daughter has rented from them as well, so I have seen their other property's! They do a fabulous job of maintaining their property's! I love my apartment and the awesome workout room!
Renting from Reverie has been a nightmare. You can't reach anyone in the office. After my apartment flooded due to a burst pipe they relocated me for a month, two weeks of which there was no contact at all, and then they decietfully placed me in a significantly smaller apartment after assuring me it would be the same size as my original. Of course without lowering rent to make up for having half the space I used to. Maintenance is a joke. They have so much turnover that requests are not answered in a timely manner, and the people they send out are normally not qualified to be called maintenance. For the flood, they sent someone who didn't even know how to turn off the water. Now my AC is out, my apartment is 90 degrees, and my urgent maintenance ticket is not being answered. It's only going to get worse with the turnover in management and maintenance. Oh, and they're aggressively raising rent, so soon they won't even be competitive by the numbers. There are maintenance and management people I do respect and appreciate here, but I would never recommend this property group to anyone. I'm gone as soon as my lease ends.
DO NOT RENT FROM REVERIE ESTATES. This is the most incompetent bunch of children I have ever had the misfortune of conducting business with. Since I moved into my apartment in November the kitchen ceiling has leaked. We are talking a multiple bucket leak every time it rains. Not only does it leak, but it runs through the electrical system and makes the lights flicker when it rains even when the switch is off. I have attempted to get this resolved at least 5 times. I have not received a clear response to date. Broken promises and terrible management are guaranteed at Reverie Estates. Their historic buildings are literally falling apart due to their incompetence. Good luck reaching them as their phones often go to a full voicemail. The community of people here are great, but the “management” could not be worse.
