My husband and I are so glad we choose the Edison for our wedding Venue. Pastor Jane and Nancy were very accommodating, professional and caring. They made us feel comfortable and they created an open, fun accepting environment. They worked with us from start to finish, and blessed us with the greatest gift, a perfect wedding. Their years of experience really showed, our shared words cannot express our gratitude for both of them, thank you so much! This is truly the place to go if you want to have a beautiful and affordable wedding. Also, the decor and design were simply beautiful

Our friends had their wedding here on New Years Eve and it was fantastic! It is a brand new wedding/chapel venue adjacent to the historic Truman Courthouse. Pastor Kerr and her entire team worked endlessly to make our entire wedding perfect! It is located in an old 1880s historic building and had cool ambiance and the decor is industrial steampunk which was really cool! The dressing room for the bride is so nice it has a custom-designed beauticians chair that looks more like a princess throne and the lighting in there for my makeup artists and hairstylist was fantastic. It was super easy for all of our guests to find. Located just off of Truman Road. We really enjoyed ourselves and the staff and facility! I would highly recommend \The Edison\ to anyone for their smaller intimate wedding or even a family reunion or corporate party!

I want to preface this review by stating that my better half tends to be the outgoing, comfortable in new surroundings, excited, people person between the two of us. I am most comfortable in the exact same surroundings as always, more with books than people, and with everything planned down to the second in advance. When this doesn't happen I quickly become anxious and overwhelmed. Pastor Jane read me like a book the moment I walked in, and immediately set about attempting to relieve my anxiety. I've actually been trying to write this review for the past couple of days, but I keep erasing it and starting over because I'm unsure how to best explain just how exemplary of an experience I had during something that I expected to just be a quick signing of papers. Pastor Jane told me during the ceremony that she loves what she does, and it shows. I felt comfortable, I felt accepted, I felt welcomed. We did not have the money for an exquisite ceremony. What we had was my wife, myself, my in-laws, and a license. I walked in a nervous wreck, and walked out comfortable, happy, smiling, and confident we had made the right decision. I wouldn't trade the intimate, genuine, and loving ceremony that we had for the biggest venue in the world. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about you, loves what she does, and wants to connect with the people involved, you've found the right venue, and Pastor Jane is the right officiant. When we eventually get the money to fly in everyone we wanted at this ceremony, and we're able to renew our vows, I already know I will be contacting Pastor Jane again. Thank you again for your time, and for the love you put into the world.

This Wedding Chapel/Event Space is the most unique smaller venue I have been to in Kansas City, with its \Industrial/Steampunk\ look! Super cool place to get married! Adjacent to the Historic Truman Courthouse. Just look at the photos!

Cute little venue with beautiful art. One small bathroom but a dressing room with a chair for the bride and a large mirror. I loved the sliding barn doors the bridal party comes through.
