Last month (September 2020) our 6 year old inverter decided to leave this mortal coil. Our original installer had gone to the wall some years ago so I was at a loss of who to turn to. A quick Google returned In Balance Energy with excellent reviews and a local office. I was quickly dealt with and put through to Glen who arranged a next day visit. During the visit Glen diagnosed the issue, gave a quotation and offered to fit a new inverter inside 3 days! The job was completed quickly, Glen clearly knows his stuff, and all packaging and the old inverter taken away. Very glad to have come across this company who can look after any of my PV needs.

Prompt, friendly, efficient and good pricing - highly recommended! Our PV Solar Power system had failed, and our previous supplier was no longer trading. We thought we had a real problem. In Balance found that an external power surge (not that rare here) had fried our inverter. Our needs and future plans were discussed in detail, with quotes for alternatives (with pros and cons for each) so that we could make an informed choice. They provided and installed a suitable replacement very quickly, with WiFi-linked monitoring that our previous unit hadn't had. Their service has been excellent, both from the front line installer (Glenn) and the IT tech (Scott). Everything has been covered, from mask-wearing for COVID, to care for our carpets, to watching out that our cats didn't escape. When we get round to adding a storage battery, we'll start with them.
I spoke to Glen as my inverter was coming to its end of life (10 years). Glen quickly appraised me of the many different inverters that I could use. I selected a similar SMA type. The next week Alex replaced it with a new inverter with WiFi connectivity. Everything is working perfectly (thanks Alex) in-addition I can now view my information through the Sunny Portal. A BIG thanks to Glen and Alex, superb service, highly recommended!!!!!
I got in touch with Glen as our old converter was no longer working due to its age (9 years). Glen quickly diagnosed the inverter and tested the solar panels. The next week replaced it with a new inverter with WiFi connectivity. Everything is working again perfectly and I can see what power it's generating on a phone App now. Great service!!
Replaced a 7 year old Aurora inverter that had developed a fault with a new Solis model. Very quick turnaround and a competitive price. Highly recommended.
