I stayed 2 night at this lovely guesthouse while I was cycling through the Shimanami Kaido and touring around the islands in October 2019. The guesthouse is modest but very comfortable and it has everything you need for a good night's stay. It has a little shed where I could park my bike, cozy bedroom with comfortable bed, clean and modern bath and toilet, and the owner Atsuko-san kindly let me use the washing machine also. First day breakfast was simple western style but the second morning I had the chance to try the beautiful breakfast spread at its sister guesthouse. But what makes this stay most memorable for me is the hospitality of Atsuko-san. She is very welcoming and makes me feel like I'm staying over at my auntie's house. I enjoyed our chats over tea in the living area, and she gave me good recommendations for sights on Omishima Island and tips for Shimanami Kaido. She also kindly helped me called and booked dinners at two yummy restaurants the two nights I was there. All in all a great cozy place to stay! Thank you Atsuko-san!

Amazing place to stay. Our host was wonderful, even without a reservation she prepared the beds for us to rest. Her place has everything you need (towels, a fridge to keep your food/drinks cold etc.). It was her who made this stay memorable and unique. Thank you so much for everything and the gifts :))) Dried kaki and home made zippers 3,500 a night including a great breakfast (without dinner but there is a restaurant close by). Honestly was my best experience in Japan ️

We arrived at Omishima at 7PM and we didn't have a place to sleep. We found out this place and we could not be luckier! Atsuko was very nice and the place very beautiful, quiet, and typical japanese. おすすめ！
A memorable trip, and this was a big part of it. Atsuko-san makes you feel at home- a charming lady at 72. Delicious beef stew! Clean bath and toilet, clean sheets, comfortable beds, lots of tea and a friendly neighborhood.
