After looking around all three prep schools in the Ilkley area, Westville House instantly stood out far beyond the others and our son joined reception in September 2019. Westville House has completely exceeded our already high expectations. It’s an exceptional school which our son has absolutely loved from day one. It’s been heartwarming to watch him learn and progress this past year thanks to their amazing teachers. Every single person involved in the school goes out of their way to make it a happy and fun environment for all the children to thrive. You couldn’t honestly ask for more from a school. Highly recommended.

Westville House is a school where childhood memories are made. Our daughter & son joined at age 3 (in 2016 & 2018) and are having the most amazing primary school adventure. Every member of the team goes above & beyond, tailoring the care and teaching to each child’s individual needs. The opportunities on offer are outstanding and always thoroughly enjoyed by the children. The facilities including the outdoor space provide so much fun along with the amazing staff and a great parent community through which we have a brilliant social life too! Can’t recommend highly enough. Final point is that the support & continuation of teaching throughout lockdown has been nothing short of heroic & something for which we will be eternally grateful.
My little boy started at Woodlands just after his 2nd birthday and from day one we were made to feel so welcome and part of the Westville family. The staff go above and beyond, the facilities are fabulous, especially the outdoor spaces! My little boy absolutely loves it, couldn't recommend highly enough.
Westville House School is an amazing school with a real family feel about it. Children are provided with schooling tailored to their exact needs and abilities and the opportunities for adventure are endless.
Really caring, nurturing environment but gets the best out of pupils at all levels. Highly recommend!
