Walk there most days. Plenty of space on both banks. A play park with swings etc. Beautiful trees. The council look after it.

Nice park to bring the kids, play area, lots of cycling paths and you can touch the river. Restaurant, takeaway, ice-cream and beer on site.
Nice and flat, good pathways and beautiful scenery. Well worth a visit and a nice steady walk - perfect for a Sunday afternoon. Check out the Riverside for hot chocolate or ice cream depending on the weather. A welcome pit stop indeed.
It's a vast park with riverside which is the highlight. You can access the Riverside by going on the other side by crossing the bridge. There is a circular walk around which would take at least 30 mins to complete I believe. We did it halfway and came back to the bridge to go on the other side. I saw a skating board area where kids were jamming. It was a peaceful looking garden with excellent views and the river in-between adds more aesthetic value . A definite visit with kids and toddlers.
There's always something to do at Riverside Gardens. Even on a bleak Autumn Sunday afternoon! A great place to sit and relax or take a stroll along the river. A small takeaway serves food and drinks or ice cream!
