The church has just undergone and expensive facelift part of which involved removing the old dark wood pews from the building and replacing them with new chairs. Although radical it has worked as the church seems more spacious and lighter. It can now be used for many other activities and host meetings and toddlers group with ease. Inside are some colourful windows, two war memorials and some helpful notice boards telling about the history of this small spa town.

Ancient and modern mixed together. The church is ancient with a modern extension. The Manor House is ancient being built on the site of a Roman Fort.
