A nice, secluded beach with toilets and a gift shop. You have top pay to gain entry but with a family of 5 costing 10 it's far from expensive. The beach is clean and made mainly from slate pebbles, turning to sand as you near the shore. As the tide goes out a hidden pool appears. As the tide comes in the waves can get a bit rough for smaller children but these are exactly what older kids are looking for. Well recommend.

Great place to relax. Great value if spending the day by the sea. Bring your towels and beach gear. Keep an eye on the tides. When the tide is out loads of rock pools to explore. Footwear essential as many sharp rocks about. Lots of rocks for rock stacking and balancing. Toilets, refreshments and even WiFi. Just check times for when they are available.

Surprised by the tunnels! Nice place for a venue too. Seems to be a cool place to spend the day and tan! Landscape is gorgeous!

After going through the tunnels, you reach to this amazing site. Beautiful scenery, clear crystal waters. Just 100 yards from Ilfracombe town centre. 2 different worlds in just a few yards. Spectacular!

Fabulous hidden gem. You can come and go all day for a nominal entrance fee. The tunnels themselves are nice but the beach was awesome..kids spent hours crabbing, finding anemones, and shell hunting. Tide came in quickly around 4pm, but the landscape was beautiful even in the rain
